About Us

Hope begins with love, in every room, every basket, and every conversation, we seek to reflect love.

Pro Love is a faith-led, community-driven organisation based in New Zealand, dedicated to walking alongside vulnerable whanau and their babies with compassion, dignity, and hope. We provide a haven with seven bedrooms and a wrap-around support system for women facing crises or unplanned pregnancies, helping them navigate this season of life with strength and support. Founded on a deep belief in the value of every mother and every child, Pro Love offers temporary housing, essential care services, and personalised mentoring to empower young mothers toward long-term stability and self-sufficiency.

Our Story

Pro Love was born out of a deep conviction: that love, not judgment, should lead the way, especially when a woman is at her most vulnerable.

It began with one woman’s “yes” to God’s call to love beyond comfort zones, to open her heart and her hands to mothers in crisis, and to walk with them without conditions or expectations. Over time, that “yes” became a movement. A movement rooted in the belief that every family deserves to be seen, heard, and supported and that every baby is a gift no matter the circumstance.

What started as dropping off nappies, listening to stories, or showing up in labor rooms became so much more. Pro Love grew into a network of support, a trusted name in the community, and a lighthouse for mothers and whānau who had nowhere else to turn. We’ve been there through pregnancy scares, hospital visits, reunification moments, and heartbreaking goodbyes. We’ve cried, celebrated, prayed, and believed with countless whānau through the hardest and holiest parts of their journeys. Out of this heart came Pro Love Haven, a physical home where women and babies can find safety and rest. But Pro Love is bigger than just a place. It is a posture, a promise, and a purpose.

  • Pro love is

  • • The aunty who shows up with a warm meal.

  • • The stranger who donates a pram with tears in her eyes.

  • • The mentor who sits beside a mama as she makes the hardest choices.

  • • The village that says, “You are not alone, and we see the gold in you.”

We believe that true justice is wrapped in love and that transformation happens through relationships. That God has a redemptive plan for every story, and that by loving one life at a time, we can see generations change.

  • What We Stand For

  • • We are pro love, pro whānau.

  • • We are a movement of faith in action.

  • • We exist to bring hope, healing, and home to the overlooked and overwhelmed.
